typical day at the lake

I spend a lot of time on the swingset.

Grandpa got this cool go cart for the boys at the lake.

Making messes is always on our agenda.

Fishing is fun!

This is what a typical day while on my vacation in ND has been like.

Party Animals!

Macs's birthday party was a blast. We played with sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and toys (which were a little hard for me to share). The party guest list was A list all the way.

Macs didn't even want his cupcake, he wanted watermelon slices instead. Mom didn't argue with his healthy food choices. Me and the other kids would much rather have cupcakes with awesome orange frosting!

All the party animals! I know you are thinking, how did they get all those crazy kids to sit still for a picture?!?

Closing down the party. Where are our clothes???

Guess who is ONE today???

Yep the little man Macs is 1 today! We got him some cup cakes and invited a few friends over for a little party. Since turning one he has learned a few new tricks, opening the screen door and going right outside to play, and also helping himself to a drink of water from Grandpas water cooler. I'll post more pictures from his party later.

HAPPY BIRTHDA MACS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grandpa and his little brother

Here is a picture of my grandpa and his brother Uncle Keny. They are best buds! This is what Macs and I are going to be like in about 75 years! So I am just like grandpa, the bigger older brother.

WOW...

has it really been that long since I last posted! I don't know if I can even call myself a blogger anymore. I'll try and get better, or I guess I have to get on my mom's case a little. She is the one with the computer. ;)

So who wants to know what me, and the fam have been up to that past weeks???

We had an extremly LONG car ride, but are officially in North Dakota! We spent the first week up at Lake Metigoshi. All my cousins were there and we had a birthday party for my Grandpa, he is 80 years young! Then we hung out at the cabin for the week. We did lots, went on boat rides, played outside on the new swing set, ate popsicles, went for walks, ate at the drive in, dug in the sand, I could go on adn on. To sum it up, I have been having so much fun. I do have to have to give a health update...Everyone has been SICK, and I mean icky sick. I got it first and then it spread through the house. My mom is still a little under the weather.

Dad got to stay all week too. Then he left for Ireland. Now we are in Minot at Grandpa's house.

"My Grandpa Rules" is written on a ruler on these awesome shirts Lala got the four boys to wear for Grandpa's birthday. This is also the swingset I was talking about. Thanks to Grandpa, Uncle Keny and Kirby for working so hard to get it up!
