Jail

Macs is officially a jail bird. Yeah he is so mobile now mom and dad had to put up the baby gates. He doesn't like them, so he'll pull up and stand and yell for them. When you are older and wiser like myself you know how to operate the gates. We can take a quick pole...Who thinks it was a good idea for mom and dad to teach me how to open the baby gates????

Don't worry though I know the rules it always has to be shut right after I go through the gate. Lucky for me too they automatically swing back shut, some kind of spring. Don't worry it is fairly safe around this house, just disregard the following post. ha ha

Hair cut & fat lip

No the barber did not give me the fat lip, although she might have wanted to ;) I got a hair cut last weekend and because I sat like such a good boy (ha!) my dad took me to Chuckie Cheese. So Fun!

Now onto the story of the fat lip. I was running around like my usual crazy self and the floor just jumped out and hit me in the face. Well maybe I tripped and slipped on a pillow and my lip/nose hit the wood floors first. I only cried for a second, then I was totally tough.

Brenden's First Steps Video

With Macsen on the verge of walking I thought I would get dad to upload a video of me walking just in case anyone forgot that I was the first one walking! Plus it was extra special that I learned to walk on another continent. However, mom is scheming to maybe have Macsen in Great Britain around his birthday so he might equal my feat. Not if I can help it. Enjoy!



For the record I am trying the Blogger Video feature which I have never used before. We'll see how it plays. If there are any problems I'll go back to YouTube where I have cross posted the video.

Update: Actually for kicks I placed the YouTube Vidoe below for comparison purposes. I want to see which one plays better, faster, and clearer. Let me hear your vote, Blogger, You Tube, or Obama. Just kidding about Obama. He seems to win everything he runs for lately.



PS - It's easy to convine dad to do these types of things when there are more boring things to do, like taxes.

Spring is almost here!

I can't beleive it, we have been outside to play almost every day this week. I was starting to get a little stir crazy...well ALOT stir crazy!

New things going on at the Selch house:

• Macs is eating food (well these puffs that sorta' look like food)


• I got a new toy from dad...they are these guys from the 80's called Transformers. They ROCK!


• Macs is getting into more and more trouble. Drawers, filing cabinets, baskets, anything he can get into, he does!
  
• I might be done taking naps...its up for debate.

I want to let all those loyal blog readers know that I (mom & dad) am really going to try and be better about posting more often.

Yes I am still a Blogger

Sorry it has been sooooooooooooo long. I blame it on mom and dad. They blame it on lack of sleep and being busy...what evs!

Still keepin' busy with my brother. He is getting more fun to play with, BUT he is always into MY stuff. I guess I need to work on my skills of sharing.
