Posting

Been hard to keep up with regular posting to the blog with a little brother. Macs gets up early so no time to do it in the morning and mom spends all night working. Plus I spend computer time playing Super Mario Smash Brothers!

First Day of School

Both Macs and Brenden started school and were so excited about it. I can't beleive they are so grown up!

Not Quite a Corporate Jet

My dad went back to Wisconsin because he had to work, or something. His buddy Justin hooked him up with a flight back part of the way. Here he is at 9000 feet.

Here's landing at the Anoka County airport. Looks fun!

Macs and Gracie

Here's Macs and Gracie in the boat watch Dad, Mom, and Uncle Trevor wakeboard. Gracie liked to lounge in the front of the boat. Macs liked riding shotgun.

Fishing At The Lake

Today we did some fishing at the lake and I reeled in my first fish. My uncle Trevor thought it could be master angler! Of course we forgot to measure it but it was pretty big and a pretty good fighter.

Battle Scars

This week I got my first hockey injury. I was playing floor hockey at school when some kids whacked me in the chin! I got opened up like a real hockey player. Dad says I should probably have gotten stitches but I was too tough, I didn't even cry.

To balance things out I promptly came home and through a Build-A-Bear shoes at Macsen and gave him a bloody fat lip.

That's how I role.

Extreme Close Up

Here's me practicing with the camera again. I did take some close up pictures of dad too but they were deemed obscene for the internet due to nose hair exposure.

Monster Truck

Legos are pretty much my favorite house toy. Of course I play with other toys but Lego is the fallback 'always fun' toy. Check out the picture of the machine I built today! The only problem is when I build so many trucks and spaceships that key Lego pieces fall into short supply. Then Macs and I really fight over the Legos.

Driveway = Raceway

Nice hat Macsers!
Macsen and my favorite thing to do is to go outside and race our buddy cars down the driveway. Mommy even got us some chalk so now we draw streets and street signs all over the driveway. We could do anything outside but we choose to just zip down the drive way and to stop before flying on to the street.

Mr Sleep

When mommy was out of town working this weekend Macs always wanted to sleep in dad's bed at night, even for his naps. Actually I think dad like to snuggle Macs too! Here is Macsen napping in daddy's bed.

Photography Practice

I've been practicing my photography skills some more lately. I call these my extreme close ups!

Grace

A classic sequence from my last day of the hockey session.

How are you doing Brenden?

Faceplant!
At least I could stay on my feet!

Photographer In Training

Tonight I got a hold of one of mom's cameras so I began training to be my mom's assistant!

This is a picture of our playroom closet. A wide variety of items in here. TV table, toy kitchen, vacuum, castle, storage chest, toy car garage, all could turn into a toy at anytime.

One of the ladies at dad's office was getting rid of her valentine's candy (apparently need to get in some Easter merchandise). I thought I would take a picture because... it would last longer!

I thought it would be great to take a picture of a picture. Seems like I'm in a lot of those photos.

Here's a great picture of dad in his Awana Cubbies outfit. Nice shirt dad!

Whack!

I was building in the basement with my hammer and Macs got a little too close to my backswing. After I hit him I think he went on an all night bender as the picture above seems to indicate.

Bowsers

Macs and I like to pretend that we are both Bowser monsters that run around the house and tackle each other. The only way to stop us is to grab us by the tails and spin us around.

You'd be shocked at how often these Halloween outfits break themselves out in a given year...

Morning Sunshine

This is a typical morning in the house. Macs gets up around 5 AM or so. Then he requests to go downstairs and eat cereal. His favorites are Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Lucky Charms. Contrary to popular belief the cereal does not make his hair stand up on end.

I usually don't roll out of bed until 7 AM, sometimes later. By then Macs is sometimes ready for a nap.

Spies Like Us

This morning I put on my super secret glasses and began a spying campaign. Mostly I spied on Macs and mommy. Not quite sure how the glasses improved my spying abilities but maybe I was harder to recognize?

Mr. Hockey

On Friday we had a real hockey game against the hacks from neighboring Fond Du Lac. We had referrees and everything!

Here's me listening to the coach before our next shift. I think he was telling us to take out their best player but I don't remember. The Fond Du Lac parents were quite crazy. Goals scored by their team resulted in the whole Fond Du Lac section jumping in the air and doing fist pumps replicated by the team on the ice. Our fans were slightly more restrained.

Here's me battling for the puck after the face-off. As you can see I was pretty much the smallest guy on the team. I'm only five and I was playing against eleven year olds. How I got on this team for the scrimmage I am not quite sure. It didn't help that the game went until 8:30 PM. I am usually asleep at 7:30 PM!

After the game they handed out drinks, granola bars, and candy. It was awesome.

They even gave me my first hockey award! I can't wait to put it up in my room! Afterwards I was really exhausted and fell asleep sitting on mom's lap.

Brenden the Builder

Uncle Paul got me an awesome toolbox and real tools for Christmas. I have been really busy, this week I built a teeter totter.

Whoa

I can't beleive we have been such bad bloggers. I guess we have been a bit busy. We had holiday visitors and then all our activities started back up.

Here are a few from my hockey practices.

Slow Start

Just realized that we have not posted much for a while. I guess we're still recovering from the holidays.

Nana and Papa left last week after coming up mid-January. Grandpa, Uncle Paul, Gunnar, and Auntie were up the week after Christmas.

Lots of visitors!

I've started taking hockey lessons at the YMCA in Oshkosh. I skate twice a week and I love it. Macs likes to watch and cause trouble in the stands.

I'm also in swimming lessons and yesterday mom took Macs and me to the pool and we didn't want to leave! Dad was in Wausau getting beat up in a hockey tournement.
