Posting
Been hard to keep up with regular posting to the blog with a little brother. Macs gets up early so no time to do it in the morning and mom spends all night working. Plus I spend computer time playing Super Mario Smash Brothers!

Battle Scars
This week I got my first hockey injury. I was playing floor hockey at school when some kids whacked me in the chin! I got opened up like a real hockey player. Dad says I should probably have gotten stitches but I was too tough, I didn't even cry.
To balance things out I promptly came home and through a Build-A-Bear shoes at Macsen and gave him a bloody fat lip.
That's how I role.

Monster Truck
Legos are pretty much my favorite house toy. Of course I play with other toys but Lego is the fallback 'always fun' toy. Check out the picture of the machine I built today! The only problem is when I build so many trucks and spaceships that key Lego pieces fall into short supply. Then Macs and I really fight over the Legos.

Grace
Photographer In Training
Tonight I got a hold of one of mom's cameras so I began training to be my mom's assistant!
This is a picture of our playroom closet. A wide variety of items in here. TV table, toy kitchen, vacuum, castle, storage chest, toy car garage, all could turn into a toy at anytime.

Spies Like Us
Mr. Hockey
On Friday we had a real hockey game against the hacks from neighboring Fond Du Lac. We had referrees and everything!
Here's me listening to the coach before our next shift. I think he was telling us to take out their best player but I don't remember. The Fond Du Lac parents were quite crazy. Goals scored by their team resulted in the whole Fond Du Lac section jumping in the air and doing fist pumps replicated by the team on the ice. Our fans were slightly more restrained.
Here's me battling for the puck after the face-off. As you can see I was pretty much the smallest guy on the team. I'm only five and I was playing against eleven year olds. How I got on this team for the scrimmage I am not quite sure. It didn't help that the game went until 8:30 PM. I am usually asleep at 7:30 PM!

Slow Start
Just realized that we have not posted much for a while. I guess we're still recovering from the holidays.
Nana and Papa left last week after coming up mid-January. Grandpa, Uncle Paul, Gunnar, and Auntie were up the week after Christmas.
Lots of visitors!
I've started taking hockey lessons at the YMCA in Oshkosh. I skate twice a week and I love it. Macs likes to watch and cause trouble in the stands.
I'm also in swimming lessons and yesterday mom took Macs and me to the pool and we didn't want to leave! Dad was in Wausau getting beat up in a hockey tournement.

Little Farmer's
Here are more pictures from our visit to Little Farmer's. There is so much to do there. Check out this giant hay bale fort! You could crawl around inside of it through passageways and everything.Birthday Pics

We all sort of look alike don't you think! Nana and Papa came down for my birthday. We had ice cream cake from Dairy Queen that had a picture of a dinosaur on it! You can see the dinosaurs head on the cake in front of me before I ate it.
For my birthday we got to go to Little Farmer's (by Fond du Lac) and play. Here's me and Nana feeding some goats.

Canada Visit
Last week we made a jaunt up to Canada to visit Nana and Papa's house.
I spent a lot of time in the pool at Nana and Papa's. It was really warm compared to the lake. Hopefully next year I can start swimming on my own.

Macsen didn't come in the pool so much but liked to watch and cause trouble from the sidelines.
One day we went to the Assiniboine Park where we road on this train. It was a real coal burning train and was really fun.
After the train we went and got ice cream from Sargeant Sunday's. It was really yummy. I ended up liking the ice cream that Macsen got more than mine so I had to convince him to give me some licks.
In Assiniboine Park there are these giant sculptures that are supposed to look like ice. Me and Macs tested them out.

We also picked some flowers from Nana's garden to bring to mommy. She had a lot of work to do and couldn't come up. I can't believe the border guards didn't ask about these when we crossed the border!
Nana even let me and Macs water her garden. Here's Macs taking his watering very seriously.
Nana and Papa's house is on a golf course so there are always deer wandering up to check out the salt lick. Here is a nice buck Papa was talking about blasting in the fall. Apparently a rogue racoon sufferred a similar fate.
